Store - Manager Food And Beverage - Scholastica - Dhaka

Job Description / Responsibility
Achieve monthly, weekly and daily sales target as decided by the management
Ensure proper customer/guest service, guest satisfaction and interaction to fulfill the guests’ needs
Manage all activities and ensure smooth operations in the outlet on daily basis, which includes:
o Maintain all opening procedures
o Maintain all closing procedures (start with the closing inventory and requisitions one hour before closing)
o Control the quality of products & service
o Oversee food preparation and assist where necessary
o Ensure proper cleanliness & ambiance of the outlet as per CW standard
o Ensure the usage of guest feedback forms
o Keep accounts and other paperwork in order
o Maintain petty cash & statement send to operations corporate office
o Receive cash from cashier in the end of the day
Ensure the full coordination of all activities in the outlet and implementation of company policies
o Ensure all materials are ready in the counter
o Ensure all MOT submits to the POS for creating KOT
o Ensure all preparation counter is working according to the KOT
o Ensure that all items are served to the right table according to the KOT
o Ensure standard time taking of co-ordination counter to serve the items
o Ensure all payment is being paid according to the KOT & invoice and change money giving back to the guest.
 Supervise, motivate and monitor all the staff in the outlet, which includes
o Maintain the attendance of the personnel working in the outlet
o Run daily staff briefing & duty allocation
o Prepare weekly/monthly Duty Roster
o Ensure the efficiency of the staff
o Ensure that guests are being attended by the Brew Trainees
o Ensure all personnel adhering to the store policies & procedures
o Ensure standard personal hygiene of all staff
 Ensure briefing to all staff about product availability, promotional items & menu change (if any), change menu manual as required
 Regularly check Menu Books, MOT Books, & Bill Folder with comments sheet & ensure proper maintaining
 Ensure all customer complaints are properly managed and relevant feedback taken into account and handle difficult customers
 Solve any raising urgent problem in the outlet
 Ensure preventive maintenance and safe functioning of maintenance related issues
 Keep the liaison with corporate office regarding availability of various general items in the outlet, maintenance matter, disciplinary cases, unauthorized absence, leave and other HR issues
 Ensure safety and security of the outlet including prevention of theft, availability of First Aid Box, Fire Extinguishers, Generator, placement of keys etc
Maintain extreme confidentiality about company policies

Educational Requirements
Master in any discipline with following diplomas:
02 yrs Diploma in Hotel Management
01 yr Diploma in Food & Beverage (Production and Service)
National Certification Course in Food & Beverage (Production and Service)

Experience Requirements
Minimum 4 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Age 25 to 40 year(s)
Responsible for smooth functioning of the outlet. S/He is preliminary responsible for an excellent guest experience, which would include ensuring great coffees & foods, rendering great service to all guests and ensuring inviting, amiable & comfortable environment. S/He is also responsible for guest interaction and retention to reduce complaints. Keeping the staff moral and motivation high should be on the top of the priority list for Supervisors. Communication with the back-end operations like HR, Operations, Supply Chain, Ware House, ISIT and Finance are also considered as very important parameters for performance evaluation.
Must be good in computer operation
Excellent Communication and supervisory skills
Minimum 4 years similar experience in FnB operation
