Job Description / Responsibility
This is a manageial position so before apply go through first
Proficiency of Product Development plan:
Work closely with the production team to attain targets and meeting timelines for every delivery.
Proficiency of Costing & Order Bookings:
To forecast CM of the order and styles based on the projected efficiency / other parameters of the factory production.
Advise order bookings
To meet the objectives and targets of the respective Merchandising division
Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
Responsible for the costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
Smoothly and promptly Communication with Buyer.
Monitoring the space of production to meet deadlines as well as ensuring production as per requirements of buyer.
Monitoring the status of approval / pre-production / photo samples/delivery.
Final costing and cost evaluation of orders.
Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to DMD on ongoing activities and issues.
Educational Requirements
Masters /MBA degree from reputed University with excellent academic and professional track records

10 to 12 year(s)

Buyer handle: Large scale buyer handle on Kohl’s, Sears, K-mart, Wal-mart ,Target, Gap, George, C&A, H&M, New look etc.
Excellent knowledge of Woven garment merchandising and production procedures.
Independent working and sourcing experiences.
Good hands-on knowledge of PC and Office applications Word, Excel, Power Point, Corel Draw, Internet & E-mail (Outlook Express).
Proficient in pattern, sample, printing, all type of fashion washing etc.
