Trainer Inclusive Education - Aparajeyo-Bangladesh - Dhaka

Job Description / Responsibility
General description of the function: To ensure quality education and access to education for the marginalized and disadvantaged children in close cooperation with her/his direct Line Manager and subordinates. The ultimate aim is to ensure quality education and the slogan education for all.
Main responsibilities: Responsible for guiding teacher’s team to ensure quality education and creating an environment to have an access to education for the marginalized and disadvantaged children of Dhaka urban areas. Assist the project team in to achieve project goal and objectives.
Specific responsibilities: To review the existing education policy, curriculum and materials of Pre-primary, Primary, Junior secondary level and developing as per present requirements.
To assist Sector Coordinator to collect and analyze the education policy, curriculum and materials of other relevant organizations/institutions and developing project materials.
To assess performance of teachers i.e. teaching techniques, developing teaching materials and its using techniques of the project as well as other organizations/institutions both government and NGOs.
Assess the training needs, design and develop training curriculum/module/manual and other relevant materials and conducting training for staff and beneficiaries.
Create an atmosphere that encourages behavior and a real understanding of tolerance and equality between adults and children in all aspects of their lives. Ensure overall development of the children at the Centre in matters of personal hygiene, education, attitudinal and behavioral development, recreation, food, skill training, etc.
Develop staff whereby they feel free to express their working initiatives and problems and take own working initiatives and responsibilities.
To developing learning atmosphere for inclusive education where teachers feel free and be courageous to work to ensure quality education and providing support to multi-group of children with best efforts.
Supervise and monitor education programme activities and providing feedback to them and reporting to the line manager with professional team approach.
Writing monthly/quarterly/annual/periodic activity report and to submit to the line manager.
To keep the Line Manager informed about all relevant matters.

Educational Requirements
Master degree in social science or graduation with relevant and highly experienced.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Master degree in social science or graduation with relevant and highly experienced.
Sound knowledge on Inclusive education, Child Rights and strong facilitation skills.
A mature outlook and deep commitment towards working with under privileged children.
Track record of progressively incremental professional responsibility in a technical environment, a minimum of 3 years experience.
Fluency in written and oral Bangla and English
Professional: Participatory facilitation and management skill.
Personal: Total integrity; Open-minded; Respect to others; Listening quality; Accept to work and live in a simple, difficult and traditional environment.
