Senior PHP Developer - MAVRICK Software and Engineering Services

Job Description / Responsibility
The major responsibility will be:
Lead a team of Web developers to design, develop, and debug eCommerce Web applications
Using creativity to innovate new products to enhance Web user experience
Experience designing and exposing re-usable Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) based solutions.
Keeping up with new Internet standards and Web technologies.
The ideal candidate should have:
Deep knowledge of PHP5 with OOP features, MySQL and Oracle(recommended).
Experience with Java, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Java Server Pages (JSP) and Servlets is highly desirable.
RAD or Eclipse IDE Experience with Portal frameworks and data analytics is highly recommended.
Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, XML.
Hands-on experience with web application architecture and relational database design.
Understanding and demonstrated adaptation of cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility concerns
Professional Web application development experience in building database-driven applications and Web sites.
Experience with an MVC framework such as Zend, CodeIgnighter, CakePHP, or similar is highly desirable.
Understanding of ecommerce API (e.g.: PayPal, cyber source, Chase Paymentech, Google Checkout, Authorized.net etc)

Educational Requirements
B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science from reputed local or international university.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements

2+ years professional Web development experience
Managerial experience recommended.
Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction and knowledge transfer to teammates and other departments within the company
A high task load is expected. You should be able to work within tight deadlines while exhibiting exemplary time management and task prioritization
Meticulous attention to detail
Positive attitude and professionalism in the workplace
A great sense of humor is always appreciated
Written and oral communication in English is highly desirable.
Should be a good team player.
