Job Description / Responsibility
The job is to coordinate knowledge management interventions of Practical Action-Bangladesh which covers farmers inquiry data management following periodic knowledge demand and supply analysis and forecast, ensuring effective functions of Local Knowledge Centres (like Community Information Centres/Tele Centres) and Resource Centres, knowledge repository and web-site management, knowledge networking with various organisations and diverse knowledge material development both for end users and decision makers.
Will have to reinforce the process of knowledge sharing, capturing, continuous updating, customising knowledge material for various clients and conserving knowledge for the community people and as well as for the organisation.
Educational Requirements
Masters in Natural Science/ Agricultural Science/ Statistics /Computer Science/ Anthropology/ Development or any other relevant field will be required.

5 to 6 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
Base: Country Office, Dhaka
At least 5-6 years of relevant experience is needed.
Experience in Management Information System (MIS)/internet technology/web-site management/multi-media knowledge material development/ rural farmers inquiry management using cell-phone and content management software/ monitoring and participatory action research / good command in SPSS, MS Access, programming/ high quality data analysis or a good combination of some of those areas will be preferred.
Excellent report writing/editorial skill in both English and Bengali, ability to work in a team both locally and internationally will be added advantage.
