Financial Analyst - Emerging Credit Rating - Dhaka

Job Description / Responsibility
The job of a financial analyst involves a number of important tasks such as analyzing financial data; input data in relevant systems for forecasting and other responsibilities.
The Financial Analyst will build and maintain financial models and analyses, prepare financial updates and communicate results to management.
Analyze financial information to produce report of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making rating decisions.
Responsible for gathering data to analyze company’s financial health.
Evaluate and compare the relative quality of various data in a given industry.
Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate credit analysis reports,
Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments through the analysis of information obtained from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, and personal interviews.
Basic analytical skills, and strong numerical skills. Importantly, communication skills are necessary to explain complex concepts to management or clients.
Perform a broad range of analysis duties, including the preparation/review credit rating analysis
Preparing and presenting financial and economic models for management, board of directors, investors and lenders.
Develop and track key performance metrics against the company strategic objectives
Track results and actions of competitors, provide industry analysis, and present findings.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor degree in Finance and/or Accounting from an accredited University. Part qualified ACCA/ACA/ACMA, MBA in Finance & Accounting will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
2 years work experience in banking or other financial institution as Financial Analyst.
Understanding of social, economic, and political issues that impact our market.
Strong proficiency in business writing and presentation skill.
Strong customer service ethics and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Advance skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SPSS, and MINITAB.
