Receptionist - Smiling Sun Franchise Program - Dhaka

Job Description / Responsibility
The Smiling Sun Franchise Program (SSFP) works with 28 NGOs to provide good quality and affordable health services in rural and urban settings. SSFP uses a unique double bottom line approach to turn the existing network of NGOs into a viable social health system, by helping these organizations to expand and strengthen the quality of their services while meeting financial sustainability targets and simultaneously serving the poorest of the poor.
Welcome guests to the Smiling Sun Franchise Program office in a welcoming and professional manner.
Answer the main phone line in a pleasant and helpful manner, direct phone calls to appropriate staff members, and/or prepare accurate and informative messages.
Become sufficiently familiar with the Smiling Sun Franchise Program-supported non-governmental organizations (NGOs), key USAID/Bangladesh staff, and related technical activities to adequately answer inquiries from callers or visitors.
Maintain a conference room schedule.
Maintain project vehicle register for normal need of transport when and to where.
Ensure the project staff in and out register is kept up to date.
Perform administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to written translation and editing, internal and external office correspondence, preparation of meeting and/or training materials, general photocopying/faxing/scanning, and maintaining an electronic project contact list.
In coordination with his/her supervisor and as a priority, ensure coverage of the main reception desk at all times during the working day.
Comply with all Bangladesh Smiling Sun Franchise Program Policies and Procedures as noted in the Policies and Procedures Manual.
Perform any other duties and tasks as and when assigned.

Educational Requirements
Minimum bachelor degree or any professional equivalent degree relevant to the position;

Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in working in similar position;
Working experience in Development sector is preferred; and
Ability to work in team with minimal supervision.
